1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OVERVIEW

By placing an order with FEMME LA, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with all applicable policies referenced herein. Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing product descriptions, including availability, style, color, size, and material, prior to completing a purchase.

FEMME LA reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions, as well as any related policies, at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the FEMME LA website or placement of an order following any such modifications shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to review the most current version prior to purchase.

 

2. RETURNS / EXCHANGE

All eligible returns are issued as store credit only. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that store credit is the sole method of reimbursement for returned merchandise.

Items marked as clearance or final sale are not eligible for return or store credit.

All exchanges must follow the standard return process. Once store credit is issued, it may be used to place a new order for the desired item or size.

 

3. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Order cancellation requests must be submitted prior to shipment. Once a shipping confirmation is issued, orders are considered processed and cannot be canceled. We do not allow cancellations for orders that are in progress, confirmed for shipment, or in transit. Any order cancellations that have not shipped will be issued store credit only. 

 

4. SHIPPING

All orders are subject to a one 1-2 two-business-day handling time. Orders are shipped via UPS Standard, with expedited shipping options available at checkout. Delivery estimates displayed at checkout are provided directly by the carrier and are not guaranteed; FEMME LA is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. 

Overnight delivery is available via UPS Next Day Air® for U.S. clients when orders are placed by 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Orders placed after 1:00 PM Pacific Time will be processed the following business day. Clients requiring overnight Saturday delivery must contact our support team in advance to confirm availability; otherwise, Friday next-day deliveries will be delivered on Monday.

Signature Confirmation Disclaimer

Signature confirmation is required for certain packages. If a customer authorizes the carrier to deliver without obtaining a signature, all liability transfers from FEMME LA to the customer. Signature confirmation is implemented to ensure delivery to the intended recipient. Any request to remove, waive, or bypass this requirement will render FEMME LA not responsible for loss, theft, or misdelivery, and the customer assumes full responsibility. These measures are in place to help ensure secure and accurate delivery.

International orders are shipped through DHL Express or UPS. Customs duties, taxes, and fees are not collected at checkout and will be billed separately by the carrier. The recipient is solely responsible for payment of all such fees. FEMME LA is not responsible for delays, holds, or fees incurred at customs.

 

5. LOST / DAMAGED OR STOLEN PACKAGES

All orders are insured by FEMME LA. In the event a package is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, the customer must complete the carrier’s verification process in order to proceed with a claim. Claims will only be reviewed once verification is completed.

All approved claims are issued in the form of store credit only. Customers must notify FEMME LA within 48 hours of delivery of any issue or discrepancy to remain eligible for a claim.

Any damage resulting from fitting, wear, use, or attempts to circumvent store policies will render the claim null and void.

Incorrect Item Policy

If a customer receives an incorrect item, FEMME LA will arrange for the correct item to be shipped once the returned item is received and verified.

If the customer no longer wishes to receive the correct item, store credit will be issued to the customer’s account in accordance with our standard return policy.

 

6. CHARGEBACK POLICY

By completing a purchase with FEMME LA, you acknowledge and agree that you will not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes through your credit card provider or any other payment platform used to complete the transaction. Any attempt to circumvent FEMME LA’s policies through a chargeback or dispute will be considered a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

In the event of an unauthorized chargeback, FEMME LA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, revoke any issued credits, and pursue recovery of the full amount through lawful means, which may include collection efforts and legal proceedings. Fraudulent chargebacks may also be referred for criminal investigation.

 

7. RESERVE ITEMS / PREORDER / MADE TO ORDER

Select items may be offered through Reserve to ensure clients can secure the pair they want. Items available for Reserve will be clearly indicated by a Reserve button at checkout, in place of the standard Add to Cart button, and within the product description. Estimated ship dates for Reserve items will also be listed in the product description or confirmed by email. By completing a Reserve purchase, you acknowledge and agree to our shipping, returns, preorder, and all other applicable policies available on the femme.la website.
